“Is this a wedding?” “Are you getting married?” “Is it your anniversary?”

Those are just a few of the questions we got as we perched on the edge of the Grand Canyon for our photo session with the wonderful Hailey Golich. And despite being all dressed up and posing in front of a camera, we weren’t celebrating any special occasion – other than being on vacation, of course! We were just two sweethearts on a road trip in a beautiful place, and we wanted to capture that time of our life!

We are so lucky that the fantastic online photographer community led us to Hailey! She was so much fun to work with and delivered gorgeous images. Plus, she was so thoughtful regarding Blake’s fear of heights – constantly asking if he was doing okay. You can’t tell it in the pictures, but Blake was a nervous wreck the whole time we were on the edge of the canyon. And as he kept stressing – it wasn’t necessarily a fear for himself as much as a fear for me being so close to the edge. How sweet is that?
