In order to provide the best experience for our KJ couples, we only accept 15 weddings per year. Because of this, we tend to book up at least a year in advance. We recommend booking your photographer first thing after choosing a date and venue.
how far in advance do i need to book you for my wedding?
After the wedding day, we will share a sneak peek of your images to our blog within a week. Your full gallery will arrive to your inbox within 4-6 weeks of the wedding day.
how long will it take to get our photos delivered?
We are big fans of first looks! However, we will also never pressure our couples into doing something they do not want to do. We will simply help share the pros and cons of both options.
Do you recommend a "first look" on the wedding day?
We suggest planning for a minimum of 8 hours of photography on the wedding day. The KJ Wedding Experience includes 8 hours but couples have the option to add more time.
how many hours should we set aside for wedding photos?
We love working with new photographers looking to get into weddings. Send us a note and we can chat about having you shadow us on a shoot or wedding day.
Do you offer any consulting for other photographers?
We love continuing to work with our past KJ couples for anniversaries, maternity sessions, and as their families continue to grow over the years. We typically do not shoot extended families or groups over 5 people.
Do you photograph families or large groups?
For the most part - yes. Blake is my second shooter for almost all of our weddings. However, he does have a weekday job that he loves, and it does require him to travel sometimes which means there may be an occasion when I bring along my associate to the wedding instead.
are you and Blake a husband-wife team?
For sessions, I typically deliver around 100 edited images. For weddings, you can expect to receive roughly 50-75 images per hour that we are shooting. We do not deliver RAW images.
Do you deliver every image from our shoot?
