My true passion is working with couples and capturing the most joyous moments. Every love story deserves to be captured in a beautiful and timeless way, and my goal is to deliver classic wedding images that will be treasured for years to come.

Here it is - the moment you've been waiting anxiously for since you climbed into the getaway car at the end of your perfect day. Seeing your pictures! We'll have a sneak peek of your wedding up on our blog within two weeks of the wedding day, and then your final gallery will arrive in your email inbox within 4-8 weeks of the wedding.

The big day!
It's wedding day! We've worked closely together over the last few months to make sure your day and photography timeline is exactly how you've always dreamed. We will arrive ready to capture every moment of this magical day - from details to first looks to the sparkler exit! We work hard to make sure you get all of the photos you love without sacrificing time with your family and friends!
Once you're booked, the next step is to plan your engagement session! We'll discuss the time of year that you want your session as well as location options. I also help with styling by sending you our Engagement Style Guide and our Stylist Tool that will help you decide the exact look that you want for your session! After the session, you'll receive your online gallery within 3 weeks.

The first step to booking Katie James for your wedding is to inquire via the Contact page of our website. Once the form has been submitted, you'll receive a questionnaire where you can tell us all about the vision you have for your wedding day photography. I'll be in touch shortly to discuss our availability and pricing. We can schedule a call to chat further before a proposal and contract is sent!

I do not expect you to be an expert at taking photos. Don't worry about posing or feeling awkward in front of the camera. At your engagement session, you'll have fun AND get beautiful pictures!
We shoot your wedding day with a combination of posed and natural images. We make sure to capture all the classic images you want while also catching the in-between glances & touches as well.
Our favorite time of the wedding day is sunset when we steal the two newlyweds away for a couple minutes of golden hour pictures.
During your reception, we will be right beside you breaking it down on the dance floor.
