Landen + Meagan: Wine Red Wedding at The Carl House

Meagan and Landen’s wedding was our first of 2018 and what a way to start the year! The beautiful historic Carl House was the perfect setting for their candlelit nuptials, and the wine red color palette complimented Meagan’s stunning blush wedding dress perfectly! And don’t get us started on all of the fun dancing at the reception! We could not have picked a better way to kick off our 2018 wedding season!

Meagan had a vision of an evening, candlelit ceremony, but Landen really wanted the first time that he saw his bride to be when she was coming down the aisle. We wanted these two to be able to have just a few pictures together during the daylight hours, and after chatting with another photographer, came up with the idea to blindfold the groom! Meagan was able to snuggle up to her man, give him some kisses, and get some natural light photos together all without him seeing her! We even managed to squeeze in one or two shots with the full wedding party!

Landen and Meagan – thank you so much for trusting us to capture your beautiful wedding. You two are just so sweet together. Your laughter is infectious and your joy radiates to all those around you! We couldn’t stop smiling all day long, and we felt so welcomed by their friends and family. It was such an honor to capture your day, and we are so excited for you to see some of our favorite photos.
